Bookmarks, notes, passwords, shared viewing, YouTube, everyday utilities. The useful little things of a digital life had no shared home. Each lived on its own island, under a different login, with a different idea of who owns the data.
CurbApps is the account that lets those things stay useful alone, then connect when you want the work to travel. The products are independent browser extensions with hard, square corners and a single amber accent. Underneath runs a deliberate architecture: local-first by default, encrypted on-device, and bound together by one trust root rather than a scattered set of credentials.
The web app is a narrow hub, by design. It issues identity, manages license keys and handles billing. It does not store or serve your encrypted sync data. That travels straight to a separate data plane, and the server only ever sees ciphertext.
Ownership without friction is the whole point.

A single CurbApps account signs identity for every surface. The web app issues a short-lived token. It never holds your sync data.
Encrypted on-device
AES-GCM · ARGON2ID · ZERO-KNOWLEDGE
AES-GCM at rest, Argon2id for master-password key derivation, zero-knowledge by design. The server only ever sees encrypted blobs.
