One encrypted vault across CurbApps

1 min readSecurity

Saved logins now use the same encrypted vault in CurbPage, CurbPlace, the web dashboard, and the mobile companion.

CurbPage and CurbPlace now share one password vault with the CurbApps web dashboard and mobile companion.

Your master password unlocks the account key on your device. Saved logins are encrypted before sync, and the unwrapped key stays in browser memory only while the workspace is unlocked.

The service cannot recover a forgotten master password or read vault contents. That is the point of end-to-end encryption, even when it is inconvenient.

Existing CurbSec JSON exports can be imported from the full-page Vault views in CurbPage and CurbPlace.

Keep going

The rest of the system.

Articles are one surface. The suite is 5 local-first products: encrypted on-device, synced only if you ask.
