Data Browser

Decrypt and read your synced data in the browser.

The web dashboard's data browser reads your synced data and decrypts it in your browser. The server only ever sees ciphertext.

Unlocking

The data browser decrypts your data using your master password. If no master password is set, the account uses auto-unlock: the key lives on your devices, and the web app cannot decrypt your data by design. Set a master password in an extension or the mobile app to browse decrypted data here.

What you can browse

  • Bookmarks: profiles and their trees.
  • OTP: TOTP and HOTP accounts with live codes.
  • Passwords: search, reveal, and copy shared vault entries.
  • Notes: groups and notes.
  • Manage: edit decrypted JSON or delete a row with conflict checks.
  • Tool configs and other entity types.

The storage meter shows encrypted R2 usage against the Premium 10 GiB allowance. Decryption and edits happen in the browser. The server receives only the encrypted envelope and its keyed integrity hash.

The decryption key lives in the page's memory only and is discarded when you leave.
