Sync

Enable encrypted sync for CurbPlace notes.

Sync is opt-in, paid and end-to-end encrypted. Your notes, folders, tags and snippets travel encrypted to your other browsers, the web dashboard and the mobile app.

Enabling

  1. Generate a license key in the web dashboard.
  2. Paste it into CurbPlace's settings and validate.
  3. Toggle automatic sync.

How it syncs

  • Changes sync in the background and on reconnect.
  • Only the delta syncs, minimising transfer.
  • Simultaneous edits across devices are detected; you choose between keeping local changes, remote changes, or merging.

What the server sees

Nothing. Note titles, content, tags and folder structure are encrypted client-side with AES-GCM before they leave the device. The server stores and forwards ciphertext only.
