Timers

The timer tab is a countdown timer that keeps running after the popup closes.

Using it

• Start, pause and reset the timer.
• Use quick +1m and +5m buttons to add time.
• A desktop notification fires when the timer reaches zero.

The countdown is computed from the persisted end time, so it survives the popup closing and the background worker being suspended.

Firefox note

Firefox clamps alarms to fire no sooner than about a minute out, so sub-60-second timers may complete slightly late on Firefox.
