Install CurbPage

Public store listings are not available yet. Use the development build below, and only trust future store links published on the CurbApps website.

Future store release

The verified listing will show CurbPage's storage, bookmarks, notifications, downloads and alarms permissions. Each maps to a feature below. Once installed, pin the icon from the extensions menu if you want it to stay visible.

Permissions and what they do

• storage: persist profiles, OTP secrets and settings locally.
• bookmarks: read and write the active profile's bookmarks.
• notifications: toast feedback when a profile loads or a sync finishes.
• downloads: save encrypted exports and backups.
• alarms: schedule background sync.

Loading a development build

From the monorepo root, build and load the output folder in chrome://extensions with Developer mode enabled:

pnpm --filter @curbapps/ext-curbpage build

Select extensions/ext-curbpage/.output/chrome-mv3.

For Firefox, run pnpm --filter @curbapps/ext-curbpage build:firefox, then load extensions/ext-curbpage/.output/firefox-mv2/manifest.json from about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
